Real Wedding - Sian & Ryan

Sian has such an eye for detail it was a wonder working on her wedding with her.  Instead of our usual combined flowers and styling we worked with a florist on this wedding (check out Too Good flowers!).  We hand crafted so many things and combined them all with Sian's own enormous collection of vintage crystal, jars and quirky items.  We created rustic wooden picket signs, vintage fabric bunting, wildflower petal cones made out of old book pages, designed a french sitting area, a guest book station and a gorgeous sweets table.  We styled the entire room on the day using pieces from Follow Studio Paper Goods, our own hire items and hand made pieces, some lovely french furniture from CL Weddings and Events as well as Too Goods florals.  The sweets table was made with our hire items and featured cookies from One Sweet Girl, a yummy cake from The Cake that Ate Paris and some macarons from Authentic French Macarons.  Thank you to Bushturkey Studio for the beautiful photos and to Ryan and Sian for letting us play a part in your day.

David Austins and Peonies ... Oh My!

Just a few of our photos from today's wedding.  Playing with all these pretties was an absolute delight!  Can't wait till next weekend when we get to create with more peonies.

Bump Shoot Styling

A couple of weeks ago I had my own maternity shoot and created a bouquet and some simple settings to style the shoot. Amazing photography by Kristie at {ngg studios}... I cannot thank her enough! I also cannot recommend her more, it's such a joy to have beautiful photos of your special moments.

Our cute "ceremony" design for our shoot

Following the last two days of posting, this is the ceremony area we styled for the Jennifer Gifford Designs shoot.  It's cute, a little bit quirky and simple.  How beautiful are those mountains in the background?  The venue was Albert River winery in Tamborine.

Floral Headpieces and Accessories

These are some of the floral headpieces we made for the models to wear for the same shoot we did our table setting for, which we featured yesterday.

And just a couple of little touches.  Our ribbon wrist corsages are a delicate touch for mothers of the bride or other family members who don't want anything too over the top or heavy.

Romantic Spring Table Setting

We had the fortune of being asked to do some styling and florals for a Jennifer Gifford Designs fashion shoot recently.  The photographers just happened to be ngg studios so of course I said (squealed) yes!

Jennifer Gifford Designs creates some really beautiful dresses.  She does truly amazing work and is incredibly talented.  To see some head over to her {website}.

This is the table setting we created for the day.  The brief was romantic, light and etheral.  The images Jennifer had as her inspiration were so pretty and it was such a joy to create these pieces.

Lavender Obsession

Lavender is in season! Yay! Over time I have collected some amazing inspirational images of lavender used at weddings and so today, finally, I am going to share them with you. I'm sure there are more hiding in my folders but these are my definite favourites.
