The Byron Bay Bridal Showcase

Earlier this year we were invited to be a part of and help organise the very first Byron Bay Bridal Showcase by Jennifer Gifford of Jennifer Gifford Designs along with Kristie Gravenall from ngg studios.  We wanted the showcase to be as "unexpo" like as you could possibly imagine and so came up with the idea to put together teams of suppliers who would work together to create rooms each themed with a certain style.  They were Romantic, Bohemian and Vintage.  We were lucky enough to be teamed with the girls from Wolley Stationary and Bree from The Cake That Ate Paris to style the Romantic area.  I cannot express enough how amazing every single vendor was in this event.  They all went above and beyond the briefs, creating an amazing visual feast.  The showcase was featured on Style Me Pretty Australia today so go and have a look at the gallery of images to see the whole event.  But for now, these are a few of my favourite images from Ryder Evans Photography of our room and other styling touches (including our super cute flower market).

Peach, Blush Pink and White Bouquets

Bianca's gorgeous bridal bouquet (which was free from and unstructured - LOVE!) featured big bloom pink roses, which had the most delicious old world rose scent, sweetpeas, ranunculus, stock, andromeda, hypericum berry, wildflowers and grasses.

Her bridesmaids bouquets were a more round traditional shape but still loosely made with roses, sweetpeas, andromeda, ranunculus and dusty miller.

Yellow, Pink and White Spring Bouquet

I don't get many chances to take photos of bouquets before they go out to brides, but sometimes I do find the ten minutes it takes....

I hope I find the time in the next few months for all the other beautiful bouquets I get to create for my spring brides.

This bouquet has calla lilies, vanda orchids, sweet peas, stock, roses, andromeda and dusty miller.
